INTERNET RESOURCES FOR SOCIAL ANTHROPOLOGISTS WORKING IN AND ON THE BALKANS

During the last decade a great number of academic institutions worldwide have used the Internet for their educational and research purposes. As a result, a variety of material is available online: journals, papers and reports, ethnographic exhibitions, bibliographies, syllabi and other teaching resources, information on research institutes and their projects, scholarships, academic exchanges, conferences, seminars, academic networks and discussion lists. This paper presents sixty-seven selected www sites related to the social anthropological study of the Balkans categorised in homepages (a) of online journals, (b) of academic and other research institutions, (c) with online papers and bibliographies, (d) of associations and NGOs, (e) of other sites.
