MACEDONIA IN THE WRITINGS OF ANTON KAPPUS

Abstract

Anton Kappus (1895-1959) lived in different areas of Macedonia as a military and civil servant in the period 1923-1941. He has published around 100 scientific and popular articles in Slovenian journals on the ethnography, geography and history of Macedonia, such as articles on hunting and fishing in Macedonia. His articles have a documentary value, while especially interesting are his data on Slovenian migrants living in Macedonia.
