Philological studies are a Slavistics journal in the field of humanities, offering a wide range of scientific research in the fields of philosophy, literature, history, linguistics, through the following rubrics:

Philological Studies are the result of an inter-university cooperation between the Faculty of Philology at Perm State University (Russia), the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), the Institute of Macedonian Literature at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (Macedonia), the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb (Croatia), and the Institute for Literature and Arts in Belgrade (Serbia).
Philological Studies are an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
Philological Studies is published annually in two issues. Official languages of the journal are Macedonian, Russian, Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian, and English. The journal accepts only original articles not previously published in any language and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The author (or authors) is the copyright holder and retains publishing rights. The journal does not levy any charges to authors to submit and publish a paper.
